We are a church that honors our traditions, lives into our future,
is progressive in our theology, and traditional in our worship.
Timothy Hogan-Palazzo, Pastor
Pastor Tim came to Saint Paul's during a sabbatical in January of 2016. After worshiping here for 9 months and filling in for our previous pastor, he was asked to serve during a period of discernment for the church. Three months later, Tim was called by the congregation to serve Saint Paul's on a permanent basis. He began serving as our Licensed Minister in January of 2017 and was formally installed in June of 2017 and is on track for full ordination in 2019.
Pastor Tim has been in ministry for just over 10 years now and he describes ministry as his life's passion -his vocation. Tim lives in Lewisburg with his husband Chip Palazzo, his mother Myrtle Hogan, and their three loving 'children' (Bear, Bridger and Scarlett). Tim is a step-dad to three wonderful adult children who reside in Colorado and Ohio. Tim and Chip have called Lewisburg home for the past 7 years. Prior to coming to Lewisburg, Tim lived and served in Columbus, Ohio where he attended seminary after spending 22 years in corporate America.
Tim holds an advanced business degree in Management with concentrations in Accounting, Human Resources, and Program Management. Tim’s seminary education (MDiv) has been spread over 3 seminaries including Methodist Theological School of Ohio, Lancaster Theological School, and Chicago Theological Seminary on-line.
Tim has a passion for God, life, music, family, friends, and animals. Tim is an avid sports fan, enjoys high school and college football, playing and watching golf, spending time with his husband laughing, enjoying good food, and cheering on their favorite sports teams. You'll have to ask him which ones they are!
Tim loves being a Pastor and serving the community of people here at Saint Paul's and is excited to live into the rich history of this congregation and stand up for who and what he believes Jesus called us and the church to be. If you come to Saint Paul's please make sure to introduce yourself to Tim, if he doesn't get to you first.
